Prêt à porter
The F/W collection of Valentino this year is…
well,indescribable.

‘Extravagant simplicity’ would be the appropriate term. The collection is very down to earth, but sometimes we see some sparkles. The
make-up was kept natural, in order all the attention went to the fabulous
clothes.
Haute couture
Just like the collection mentioned above,
the haute couture collection was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, and if possible even more dazzling.

The haute couture collection was shown at Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, 11 rue Berryer, Paris. The make-up was similar to the prêt à porter collection and the ponytails made place for small buns placed low in the neck.

The haute couture showed us some drama, but also made me think of
fairies.
Lots of light fabrics, pastel shades and glittering headbands.
There were some black dresses, a lot of bridal pieces and two bright red dresses (Valentino wouldn’t be Valentino without those).

I strongly
recommend you to take a look at the videos, so sit back and fall completely in
love with this marvelous collection.
